A custom toy chest in purpleheart and curly maple with high quality torsion hinges. Commissioned for a toddler with a passion for purple.

The panels of this chest are built using elegant curly maple, the contrast to purpleheart is a hallmark of this build. The lid has a custom epoxy inlay to make it even more special/meaningful to the client.

Build with quality and functionality as equal top priorities, a lid-stay torsion hinge that holds the lid at any angle was used. This detail prevents any fingers from being crushed under a solid wood lid.
